Kansas athletics
operation: rock chalk
As Lead Designer at Kansas Athletics, I was embedded on the front lines of one of the most iconic programs in college sports. My primary mission: elevate the visual identity of Kansas Men’s Basketball through bold, high-impact design across print and digital.
From real-time social graphics to recruitment campaigns and internal collateral, every piece I created was crafted to drive engagement, build momentum, and deepen fan connection. I operated with speed and precision — balancing creativity with efficiency — while honoring the deep-rooted tradition of Jayhawk basketball. This role sharpened my skills in visual storytelling and strategic design execution, helping transform ideas into assets that rallied a passionate fanbase and supported the program’s championship mindset.

This social series was designed to spotlight Kansas players while unveiling the updated KU look. The creative direction focused on delivering a bold, energized aesthetic — bright, saturated colors, shine effects, and layered textures gave the graphics a modern edge, while wheat paste-inspired elements grounded the visuals in tradition. The result: a fresh visual language that honored the program’s legacy while pushing the brand forward across social platforms.
follow friday
Follow Friday was a strategic initiative built to amplify player visibility ahead of the NCAA’s NIL era. Designed to spotlight individual athletes while reinforcing the Kansas brand, the campaign drove awareness for both incoming transfers and returning players — giving them a platform to build their personal brands and connect more directly with our fanbase. The result was increased recognition, stronger engagement, and a deeper alignment between the athletes, the program, and the community that supports them.
